The North Shore Women’s Institute is sponsoring a talk by Elwood Jones on the Peter Robinson Settlement in Peterborough County. Professor Jones is a Professor Emeritus of History at Trent University and an archivist at Trent Valley Archives. He will be describing the fascinating story of Peter Robinson’s work in organizing the migration and settlement to Peterborough County of immigrants from Ireland.
